Hermes Agent hosting
Hermes Agent Hosting: ReadyHermes vs Hostinger (Prices Compared)
Updated 10 October 2026
If you searched for “Hostinger Hermes Agent”, you are probably weighing a few ways to run Hermes without doing everything yourself. Hostinger sells two of them. We sell a third. This page puts the three side by side with real numbers and says plainly where each one wins.
We run ReadyHermes, so we are not neutral. We will keep to what Hostinger publishes on its own pages and leave out anything we cannot back up. ReadyHermes is an independent hosting service and is not affiliated with Nous Research, who make Hermes Agent.
The two Hostinger options
Everything in this section is as listed on Hostinger’s site on 10 October 2026, US prices. Prices vary by region and promotion, so check the current page before you decide.
1. Managed Hermes Agent
Hostinger’s Managed Hermes Agent page lists $5.99 a month as the intro price, renewing at $11.99 a month, on a 2-year term. It mentions pre-configured AI credits, built-in Telegram pairing, web search, pre-configured agentic email, a visual interface and CLI access, and says Hostinger handles updates and backups for you. It lists Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal and email as messaging platforms. It also says you can use your ChatGPT account or connect OpenAI or Anthropic.
2. The one-click Hermes Agent VPS template
On the Hermes Agent VPS template page, Hostinger offers Hermes preinstalled on its KVM plans, also on a 2-year term. You get a web dashboard and an in-browser terminal, with Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal and email as channels. The page also lists free automatic weekly backups. Because it is a VPS, you manage the config, the API keys and the server.
- KVM 1: $6.49 a month, renews at $11.99. 1 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB NVMe.
- KVM 2: $8.99 a month, renews at $14.99. 2 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, 100 GB.
- KVM 4: $12.99 a month, renews at $28.99.
- KVM 8: $25.99 a month, renews at $49.99.
Both Hostinger pages say “Cancel anytime” and offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. As listed on Hostinger’s site on 10 October 2026; prices vary by region and promotion.
What a 2-year term and a renewal price mean
The low number in big type is the intro price. The second number is what the plan renews at. Both Hostinger options are listed on a 2-year term, so the cheap rate is tied to a long commitment.
Here is the simple math, using only the listed prices.
- Managed Hermes Agent: $5.99 intro, $11.99 renewal. That is $6.00 more per month, or about double the intro price.
- KVM 1: $6.49 intro, $11.99 renewal. That is $5.50 more per month.
- KVM 2: $8.99 intro, $14.99 renewal. That is $6.00 more per month.
- KVM 4: $12.99 intro, $28.99 renewal. That is $16.00 more per month.
If the intro rate covers the whole first 2-year term, KVM 1 comes to about $155.76 and Managed Hermes Agent to about $143.76 over those 24 months. After that, the listed renewal rate applies. At $11.99, a month on either plan costs more than twice a month of ReadyHermes Lite at $5.
None of this is a trick. It is how long-term hosting deals are usually priced. It just means the number to compare is the renewal price, not the intro price, if you plan to stay longer than two years.

How ReadyHermes is priced and what you get
ReadyHermes hosts a dedicated Hermes Agent for you. Each account has its own agent with its own memory and skills, kept apart from other users. There is no server, no Docker and no API key to set up. The agent is ready about a minute after you sign up.
- Free trial: 30 minutes of Lite, no card. The clock starts when the agent first runs. When it ends the agent pauses, and you have 24 hours to pick a plan before it is deleted.
- Lite, $5 a month: 1 vCPU, 2 GB memory, 10 GB storage.
- Pro, $10 a month: 2 vCPU, 4 GB memory, 40 GB storage. It is the same agent resized in place, and you can switch any time.
Billing is monthly and you can cancel any time. Prices exclude local tax where it applies. Payments go through Waffo, the merchant of record. After you cancel, the agent works until the end of the paid period, then stops, and is deleted 7 days later unless you subscribe again.
AI usage is included on both plans, using DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, with fair-use limits. Pro does not come with a bigger AI allowance. If you prefer another model, paid plans let you add your own key from OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini and others, and your provider bills you directly.
For chat apps, ReadyHermes supports Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, WeChat and Feishu/Lark. The dashboard also has Bot tools: start and stop, backup and restore, a file browser, SSH over your own Tailscale network, an OpenAI-compatible API for your scripts, a live desktop view, and a “My computer” link to your own machine. The step-by-step guide walks through all of it.

Where Hostinger is the better choice
Be honest about the trade-offs. On several points Hostinger comes out ahead.
- More machine for the money. KVM 1 lists 4 GB of RAM and 50 GB of NVMe. ReadyHermes Lite has 2 GB and 10 GB. If you want to run heavy jobs or keep a lot of files, the VPS gives you more room per dollar. Our Pro plan has 4 GB and 40 GB for $10 a month, which is still below KVM 1’s disk.
- You already use Hostinger. If your other hosting is there, keeping everything with one provider has real value.
- More chat channels. Both Hostinger options list Slack, Signal and email alongside Telegram, Discord and WhatsApp. ReadyHermes does not offer Slack, Signal or email as chat channels today. (Slack can still be connected as an app your agent works with.)
- Full control. A VPS is yours to configure. If you want to tune the server itself, that is the point of a VPS.
Where ReadyHermes fits better
- No long commitment. It is monthly. Cancel and it stops at the end of the paid period.
- A flat price. $5 stays $5. There is no intro rate to expire.
- Try it before you pay. The 30-minute trial needs no card. Hostinger offers a 30-day money-back guarantee instead, which means paying first.
- AI included, no key hunt. The agent answers out of the box. You can still bring your own key later.
- WeChat and Feishu/Lark. If your team or family lives in those apps, this matters. We could not find them listed on Hostinger’s pages.
- No server work. Updates, restarts and monitoring are handled for you. On a VPS they are yours.

- You are happy to commit to a 2-year term and plan around the renewal price.

- You want to pay month to month and be able to leave.
- You want to test a real agent for 30 minutes without entering a card.
- You do not want to run a server, install anything or find an API key.

Whichever you choose, check the price on the day you buy. Both can change. Start the free trial if you want to see ReadyHermes first, or see pricing for the current plans.
Questions
How much does Hostinger charge for Hermes Agent?
As listed on Hostinger’s site on 10 October 2026 (US prices; they vary by region and promotion), Managed Hermes Agent is $5.99 a month, renewing at $11.99, on a 2-year term. The one-click VPS template starts with KVM 1 at $6.49 a month, renewing at $11.99, also on a 2-year term. KVM 2, 4 and 8 are $8.99, $12.99 and $25.99 a month, renewing at $14.99, $28.99 and $49.99.
Does Hostinger offer managed Hermes Agent hosting?
Yes. Hostinger lists a Managed Hermes Agent product at hostinger.com/managed-hermes-agent. Its page mentions pre-configured AI credits, built-in Telegram pairing, web search, pre-configured agentic email, a visual interface, CLI access, and updates and backups handled for you. It also offers a separate one-click Hermes Agent VPS template on its KVM plans, where you manage the server yourself.
What is the difference between the Hostinger managed plan and the VPS template?
The managed plan is listed with pre-configured AI credits, Telegram pairing built in, and updates and backups handled by Hostinger, so there is less to set up. The VPS template installs Hermes on a KVM server with a web dashboard and in-browser terminal, and you manage the config, API keys and server. Both list Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp, Signal and email as channels, and both come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Is ReadyHermes cheaper than Hostinger?
On the listed intro prices, Hostinger is close: $5.99 for Managed Hermes Agent and $6.49 for KVM 1, against $5 for ReadyHermes Lite. The gap grows at renewal, where both Hostinger options list $11.99 a month. ReadyHermes Lite stays $5 a month and is billed monthly with no long term. Hostinger’s VPS gives more RAM and disk, so the cheaper option depends on what you need.
Does ReadyHermes need a 2-year commitment?
No. ReadyHermes is billed monthly and you can cancel any time. After you cancel, the agent works until the end of the paid period, then stops, and is deleted 7 days later unless you subscribe again. Lite is $5 a month and Pro is $10 a month, and prices exclude local tax where it applies.
Can I use my own AI model key with ReadyHermes?
Yes, on paid plans. In the dashboard’s Model key section you can paste a key from OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Groq, Qwen, Z.AI, Moonshot, MiniMax and others, or use any OpenAI-compatible endpoint with a public https address. Your provider bills you directly. You can switch back to the included DeepSeek V4.1 Flash model at any time.
Does ReadyHermes support WeChat and Feishu?
Yes. WeChat connects by scanning a QR code from the phone that will host the bot, and the first connect installs a plugin, so allow 2 to 4 minutes. Feishu/Lark uses an App ID and App secret from the Lark developer console. Telegram, WhatsApp and Discord are also supported. We did not find WeChat or Feishu listed on Hostinger’s Hermes pages.
